The Halong bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular travel destination. To be honest, too popular. More than 2500 tourists per day on a few hundred boats makes this breathtaking area (tropical, moist, evergreen rainforest ecosystem and a marine and coastal ecosystem) to a really crowdy place. Halong in vietnamese means: Descending Dragons. Today it is forbidden for the local fisherman to hunt with granates and T.N.T. so we hope the destroyed environment can rehabilitate even with the big number of tourists.
