After the exhilarating walking tour through Cusco, I met some amazing new people and decided to attend a cooking class today.
First, we went to a local market with the chef to buy all the ingredients. He showed us a lot of local vegetables and fruits.
All the fruits looked so delicious, he bought some for us to try as well.
Back in the kitchen, we got to taste the special fruits.
We started preparing the two dishes, chopping the vegetables, fish, and meat. We made the two national dishes, ceviche and lomo saltado.
We also mixed the national cocktail, Pisco sour.
The cooking class was a lot of fun. I also got the recipes for the dishes, so I can try them at home.
