Semuc Champey is located in the middle of the rainforest in Guatemala. It is considered one of the most beautiful places in the country, consisting of terraced water pools fed by the Cahabon River. There are also stalactite caves to explore, which were a lot of fun.
I was also fortunate to stay at a nearby hostel, making it just a 30-minute walk to Semuc Champey, instead of having to take a shuttle from Lanquin. I also made friends with two other Germans... you know who you are 😉 Great times!
