Welcome to the end of the world, Å of the Lofoten islands, that is. We have reached the southernmost point of the island group and the beautifully developed scenic route ends in a parking lot. On foot, we can continue a little further and explore the rest of the island chain.
Here, more beautiful fishing villages line up and we visit a lighthouse off the beaten path. From there, we also have a fantastic view over #Sørvågen and the special houses.
We also take a look around Å, which is designed as an open-air museum. After the last few days, we relax slowly to prepare ourselves for the hike to Reinebringen.
Because a few days ago, untypically without a camera, we visited the Kvalvika beach and stayed there. Without poor Theobald. He had to wait patiently, like many other vans, motorhomes, and cars on the side of the road, while we set off heavily loaded for the beach. Apart from the dough disaster and the DIY-smoked-ourselves action, it was a very pleasant trip and it will definitely stay in our memory. And the smell in our jackets will also stay for months to come (we can predict that already).
