#Detroit is impressively negative in a breathtaking way: I don't know if or when I was last in such a pedestrian-unfriendly world. Fundamentally, to me, the city seems to be an endless parking lot with a few streets in between... My absolute highlight today besides cars: #TheCharlesWrightMuseumofAfricanAmericanHistory

The field research continues: East Central Europe in Northern America. After receiving no response(s) to emails, it's time to take it to the next level: just show up, knock, and ask for help. This has worked in various places in Ukraine and Russia, and apparently also here: tomorrow and Friday I'm going 'underground' again.
