On Wednesday morning, I picked up Jasmin on the scooter, and we rode for about 30 minutes to a beach to have breakfast. We ordered an omelet, which actually looked quite good and tasted good too, until I fortunately noticed quite quickly that there were dead ants all over it. 😅

Of course, we returned it and left.

We then continued walking along the beach and looked for a new restaurant. The path was quite rocky and stony, and there were many monkeys around.

We saw a monkey steal a handbag from under a towel. He opened the bag, rummaged through it, took out a phone, and then ran away. At that moment, we didn’t know what to do. Many people ran over and tried to lure the monkey down from the tree, but he was just chilling at the top of the tree – with the phone.

Then the owner of the bag came, totally upset, and tried everything to get the monkey down from the tree. In the process, she slipped on the rocks and injured herself quite badly... We felt so sorry for her, but no one could do anything. A few men ran around in the rocky forest trying to scare the monkey away, but they even hissed at us. Jasmin and I then went back to the restaurant (the one with the ants) and got a banana. As soon as the monkey saw the banana, he returned the phone. 😅 Luckily, everything turned out well, and now I know how brazen and clever monkeys can be. 😅

A bit further, we found a nice restaurant and could finally have breakfast at noon. 😂 It was really delicious – and without ants! 😂☺️

On the way back, the waves were so strong that we couldn’t walk on the beach anymore and had to climb instead. 😅 Then we drove back because I had to go to the children's home.

In the evening, Jasmin visited me at the children's home. We were together with the cow and played with the children. Afterwards, we ate something, and then Jasmin had to go to the airport because she was flying back to Germany.

From now on, I am alone, but I’ll manage. 😅
