Hello again,😎🤙🏼
our working life overseas has finally come to an end after 4 months, and it's high time for a new blog entry.
This also means that we can finally begin our journey through this amazing country.
After struggling with work every day during the first half, we worked 24/7 during the second half. Lisa as an au pair, babysitter, and cleaner, Dennis as a furniture mover, Uber delivery driver, and on the mentioned farm.
Our everyday life was 'from work to table to bed,' and it made us truly appreciate having regular working hours at home.
On August 2nd, our friend Milli finally arrived in Brisbane. We will be traveling from Byron Bay to Cairns with her for the first three weeks.
The anticipation was huge, as her arrival also marked the beginning of our journey.
After staying for two nights with Lisa's host family and realizing that she couldn't handle the kids even for such a short time, we headed out on a fun and enjoyable farewell party at Dennis' flat (with a slight hangover for Dennis).
So far, we have traveled the following route:
Gold Coast and surroundings:
Byron Bay-- a fantastic, laid-back hippie/surfer village
Tweed/Fingal Heads-- beautiful beaches, perfect for taking a surf lesson
Surfers Paradise-- a cool city right on the beach, but very touristy
Noosa-- a small town with many beautiful bays, beaches, and a stunning national park

Further explanations will be provided in the photo captions.
See you soon ✌🏼
