Disclaimer:
This blog is read by (hopefully) many different people. For some, it may not be funny enough, for others a bit too unprofessional. Nevertheless, we hope that everyone who reads this blog will feel entertained and/or informed, briefly. If you have no interest in our desire for recognition and our journey, we will still tell you about it afterwards (you can't avoid it).

Beginning of the journey.
The first adventure that had to be overcome before departure to Southeast Asia was to meet someone who had NOT been to Southeast Asia yet. With so much foreign information, experiences, and opinions in mind, I slowly get the feeling that I have already been there in a way.
The enthusiasm that greeted us when we announced our plans remained, except for a few exceptions, at a level that could be described with expressions like: 'oh cool', 'yeah, nice' or 'aha'. Even now, shortly before departure, the adrenaline has not yet dared to enter our bloodstreams. And even if it does, it will be swept off the field by sleep hormones, if there should be such a thing, with a score of 7-0.
As I write this, we are sitting in Hamburg Airport, from where our flight to Helsinki and from there to Bangkok will depart. For a few minutes, I have been listening to some Finns and by now I am sure that when creating the language, the linguistic cook's lid flew off the salt shaker.
Whatever.
Nevertheless, when imagining what awaits us in the next 6 months, one can feel a sense of joyful excitement. It lies somewhere between ecstasy and insignificance.
Okay, boarding is starting.
