Yesterday we arrived at the campsite in Vejers relatively late around 7:30 pm. The place was quite full, but we managed to find a spot squeezed in between several other motorhomes.
In the evening, we had pizza from the campsite snack bar and then took a trip to the beach to go sand dune jumping. Here, vacationers drive their cars onto the beach - a sight to see if you know the beaches of Jesolo and Co.
This morning we enjoyed a little more time at the beach before packing up our things and checking out at noon. Today's drive takes us to Thyborøn, further north.
On the way there, we make a pit stop in Ringkøping to play football golf. We arrive in Thyborøn around 5:00 pm and start looking for the Pintrip parking space there. Pintrip offers private owners the opportunity to offer parking spaces for motorhomes on their own property - this is kind of an alternative to wild camping, which is unfortunately prohibited in Denmark.
Unfortunately, another vehicle (with a German license plate, of course) is already parked at the space - we could somehow squeeze in, but this time we decide not to and drive to the next campsite. Curiously, there is only an electronic check-in there (no on-site service staff) but we manage to figure it out.
In the evening around 10:00 pm, we watch the sunset over the North Sea in strong winds. An amazing spectacle...
