After traveling with Dibbi for 3 weeks, it was time for her to return to Germany and leave us behind. We had breakfast together one last time, and then our paths separated.
On that day, we visited the so-called Three Sisters and the Elephant Rock, rock formations located on the West Coast of the North Island. There, we met the two Belgians again, whom we had already encountered several times on the Coromandel Peninsula.

Later, we went to the campground in Te Kuiti, where we had already stayed before going blackwater rafting in the Waitomo Caves.
The next day, we headed back to Taupo to meet up with Jessy, Andre, Luisa, and Denis. Along the way, we stopped to see the Omaru Falls.
Nice walk to a very beautiful waterfall away from tourists
Originally, Andre and Witzi wanted to go skydiving together in Taupo, but since Witzi was still sick, they couldn't. Instead, the 6 of us met at the campground near Tongariro National Park to embark on the Crossing together the next day.
