After our early start in Zwota, we arrived in Salzburg in the morning in the best sunshine.
Parking at the hotel and through the gardens of Mirabell Palace to Café Sacher.
A shady spot on the Salzach with a view of the castle.🤩
Served with boiled beef soup and Sacher sausages. Finished with expertly prepared "Salzburger Nockerln". Delicious treats from Salzburg's confectioners.😋
After eating and taking in the scenery, we went to the Marko Feingold Bridge. We still had some castle business to take care of ❤️
Strolling through the Getreidegasse and the old town then led us to a very special photo stop (thanks to Rocco for the tip) We met our grandparents, apparently plantation owners in the southern states🤪
Afterwards we went up to the castle, had a great panorama from up there and enjoyed a sun barbecue at its finest.
Then we slowly checked into the hotel at 5 p.m.
We freshened up quickly and then went to the Sky Restaurant Imlauer.
Once again a fantastic view of the castle and everything was really delicious. The waiter was really nice.
A great prologue, thanks to Dine's birthday, in enchanting Salzburg.🇦🇹🍰
Really a great little town. We liked it a lot.🥰
Tomorrow we're off to Slovenia!
Stay tuned
