Arriving at Ethosha NP, we could hardly believe our eyes when we were greeted by a herd of elephants right away. But this was just the beginning. We spent hours at a waterhole that day, observing elephants, giraffes, hippos, and many other animals. The next day, as we set off on a game drive in the early morning hours, we were in awe. Just a few kilometers into the savannah, we spotted a pair of lions that had just killed an antelope. The jackals circled around the lion couple until, after about 30 minutes, they were well-fed and left the leftovers to the jackals.
Elephants, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, and springboks were constantly crossing our path... it was simply sensational.
