Chapmans Peak Hike

On September 29th, after work, we went on a hike to Chapmans Peak with Valerie and a few others from the farm. The sun was very warm but the wind was actually too strong for hiking, but that didn't stop us.☺️
Right at the beginning, we passed by ruins. Dirk told us that they used to shoot at the sea from here to defend themselves against attackers.
The paths were very steep and rocky, you had to be careful where you step. Luckily, we had good hiking shoes.
We stopped frequently to enjoy the beautiful view.
