Last night at 9:30 PM, we moved from our originally very nice overnight spot to the sheltered city. At least five other RVs also made the move with us. It was so windy that we felt like we could tip over at any moment. It was much calmer at the Intermarche parking lot, and we were able to empty our waste and fill up on supplies right next door in the morning. It rained incredibly hard throughout the night.
When it started raining, we drove 200 km further north. In Odeceixe, we visited the giant dune and even drove around it. The nature up there and along the cliffs was incredibly impressive, likely due to the huge waves caused by the strong wind. We would have loved to stay longer, but the bad weather didn't allow for it. We made another stop in Cavaleiro to see the lighthouse and the cliffs, but we could hardly leave the RV there either.
We arrived in Vila Nova de Milfontes when the weather was sunny. We found a nice overnight spot right at the mouth of the lagoon. We explored the city, but didn't find anything particularly noteworthy.
