Since we had to return the scooters at 10:22 am today, we checked out and headed to a crocodile farm. It was only 15 minutes away by scooter and therefore easily accessible in the morning. Upon arrival, each of us got to hold a six-month-old crocodile. It's truly amazing how powerful such a young animal can be. Afterwards, we were allowed to look at the cages, some of which were poorly secured, with crocodiles of all ages. In total, there are around 700 crocodiles here. They are mainly sold to the fashion industry or food companies in China, Thailand, and Vietnam. After about half an hour of crocodile-watching, we returned the scooters and finally went to have breakfast. After breakfast, we wanted to visit a local museum. However, we couldn't find it and ended up (not really disappointed) going back to the hostel.
We waited for about 1.5 hours until our bus to Siem Reap arrived. The three-hour bus ride was very comfortable, as this bus had a lot of space and available seats.
After arriving in Siem Reap and checking in at the hostel, we only went out for dinner and a couple of beers in the city. Tomorrow will be a very, very long day...
