What's up, guys? Yesterday we went to a big rock (it wasn't much more exciting than it sounds), the village around it is very beautiful and there are many backyards and a big market (by the way, I have only spent my money on camera films, food, alcohol, and cigarettes so far 😂). First, we wanted to have a drink and we immediately found a nice restaurant. I ordered Chilaquiles, once again, because the breakfast at the hotel is not very good. The first round of drinks and the food came quickly, and then - apparently typical for the state of Queretaro - there was a long wait. I already mentioned that people here are a bit slower. We had to wait so long for the second round of drinks that I was already sober again, even though I wanted to maintain my slight buzz throughout the day. 🤓
After the waiting ordeal (at least there was a nice view), we went to the city center, where we were intercepted by the rest of the group. We were informed that we had to go back because a private tour bus would pick us up at the hotel two hours later. So the round trip took longer than the stay. 🤦♂️
I didn't understand much of the tour, of course, it was about the history of the city of Queretaro and we visited some sights. We were smart enough to pack some undercover alcohol, because drinking is not allowed on these buses. That made the tour even more fun. 🎉
In the evening, we went to an old factory that had been converted into a bar/restaurant. They even had Altbier👌
Afterwards, I fell dead into bed because today we are going back to Monterrey. You know how much I love getting up early. 😁
