Hanoi: so many incredible impressions! After hardly sleeping on the plane, being on the road for 20 hours, and just being totally exhausted, we decided to take a taxi to our hostel when we finally arrived in Hanoi, as it's quite far away. We had already booked a hostel in advance for the first two nights. The ride from the airport to the hostel was, without exaggerating, simply insane and exceeded everything I imagine about 'traffic'. It's a miracle that there wasn't an accident during the ride. The hostel is hidden in a small alley right in the old streets of Hanoi and really beautiful. We will stay here for the first two nights. So when we arrived completely exhausted at 5 o'clock, we took a shower and then decided to just talk a bit, plan the next day, and go to sleep early to recover from the past few days. That was at least the plan. It ended up being 7:48 PM now, we spent about an hour with the most perfect positioning of our mosquito nets and haven't planned anything for tomorrow yet. Besides, I'm starving because I didn't like the food on the plane at all and there hasn't been anything to eat since then. On top of all that, the fact is that Jana is becoming more and more like my father. Sounds pretty crazy at first, I know. But first of all, she has strung cords for the mosquito net throughout the entire room, enjoyed their work incredibly, and then worried about how these nets are made exactly... It all seems very familiar to me! I will definitely keep an eye on this disturbing development. Good night :)
