In Alte we went back to the city and to the post office. We had asked the nice Dutch lady about how to pay the toll on the highway that we drove about 50 km on. She explained to us that we could do this at the post office. But the nice lady at the post office, where they also sold flowers and vegetables by the way, told us that we would have to go to a main post office in a bigger city for that, she can only handle payments with Portuguese people. So we decided to wait and see if we would receive mail for the €4.50 toll fees. :-)
The city of Albufeira was again too big for us and not appealing enough to go through the hassle of finding a parking spot. So we continued towards Pera. Along the way, we discovered a very nice parking spot, but unfortunately it was already full again by 11:00 am. There are many Germans staying there for the winter. In the end, we ended up at a campsite in Armacao de Pera. From there, we took a very long walk through the city and along the beach. I had to collect some more seashells. :-)
