Hollyford Track

Today we are starting a three-day track. The first day is relaxed and we reach our first hut at Hidden Falls in 2.5 hours. The weather was amazing, it was warm and sunny, and we enjoyed our lunch outside the hut with a view of mountains and waterfalls 😍

On the second day, we reached the next hut at Lake Alabaster after 3 hours. The trail was not too difficult, and we spent the day sunbathing by the lake and sitting by the fireplace in the evening, reading a book 🔥

Unfortunately, the third day didn't start off so well. It rained the whole day, and we decided not to spend another night at the first hut but to walk back to the car directly. So we hiked 23km in 6 hours in the rain and treated ourselves to pasta and cake at the Italian restaurant afterwards 🍝🍰
