Good evening ladies and gentlemen!
We are reporting again, this time from Singapore đđž.
After our day yesterday was quite unspectacular - we spent the morning at the pool and in the hotel room đđ, we went to the circus later in the day.
Well, it was okay, just a circus. Honestly, it wasn't any different from what we have back home, except that they performed a theatrical play with acrobatics instead of the typical show. We found the $28 per ticket quite exaggerated. But at least it was for a good cause đ¤ˇđŊââ. The money is used to support children from poor families. They have the opportunity to go to school for free and learn acrobatics at the same time.
After that, we let our beloved TukTuk driver take us back to the city. But after having a drink, tiredness caught up with us again and we had him drive us back to the hotel đ¤ĻđŊââđ.
This morning, we got up at 7:30 am and had breakfast. At 8:30 am, we were already picked up to go to the airport (by the same driver, of course, he was truly our brođ).
After what felt like 628262 years, we finally finished checking in because the flight was apparently overbooked. Then we went through the security check. After getting another overpriced coffee, things started relatively quickly. By the way, that was the first time we didn't sit next to each other; Lara was all the way in the back and Jasna was almost at the front đĨēđ.Â
Well, we survived and landed safely đđŊđ. When we arrived in Singapore, it felt like being in a different world, everything is so clean, big, and orderly đ.Â
We then took the subway and had to walk a short distance to our hotel. Nice area.. we thought. The room is small but nice.Â
However, we noticed during the evening walk that we somehow ended up in the red light district here đ¤ˇđŊââđ¤ĻđŊââ. Well, it is what it is, we're going to sleep now.
Waking up at 5:30 am tomorrow to pick up Juli đŦđ
Until then đĨŗ
