Here I am again, Svensson. Okay, I've been quite quiet, but I'm just chilling in the sun and looking at the sea. Only the laughter of children next door, clattering in front of the tents, the sound of waves in the sea, the soft guitar sounds from my awning, the refreshing wind, and the lantern occasionally awaken me from my daydreams.
We were supposed to stay for only 4 nights, but it's just wonderful here and we're enjoying the peace and relaxation - so we're staying longer. I occasionally notice neighbors saying goodbye and new neighbors arriving. Somehow, it's the only thing besides the waves in the sea that moves around here.
The location is brilliantly chosen, nothing disturbs my view of the sea.
What do I do when I'm standing here - right - observe - how people bathe, snorkeling also seems to be a new hobby. Fortunately, I'm denied the opportunity to see what exciting things are underwater. I hear that it's supposed to be very meditative, with lots of fish and an exciting underwater world. Of course, otherwise, people wouldn't spend hours with their heads in the water. Swimming, sunbathing, sleeping, reading, swimming, sunbathing, sleeping, reading.. okay, etc.
I'm standing relaxed and securely fixed with my PalmaEasyAir. Occasionally, it smells like pasta, pesto, rice, and lots of vegetables, and of course, fresh coffee. Cooking is happening in the tent - sleeping is happening inside me. There's usually only movement when the lantern behind me goes out and the sun warms me up.
What else happened: Two days ago, she showed up during one of the daily jogging rounds with a dog. He seemed to be following her and was convinced that he could ride with us. But no, I'm not designed for dogs. Not yet. The owner was found hours later, feeling 100 years old, under a great vine arbor and delighted that "Mia" was home again.
Today, I went for a drive, once to go shopping and I was able to fill all my drawers with groceries. How convenient that my PalmaEasyAir can stand without me. Before we could leave, I had to get rid of an ant trail. They simply climb up the tent ropes from the tree onto my roof. Cheeky little ants. It's not surprising that after all the crawling, I felt like taking a refreshing spin.
What else happened? Heat, sun and more sun, even two thunderstorms at night, but I know that Svensson is safe!
We'll stay for two more lantern lights and then probably move on - the desire for the sea has not been satisfied yet, so we'll probably go to the Slovenian coast. I'm curious..
