Hey guys, as promised here is the first update. After six days, we gave up our camp in Whangerei to travel around the country with the camper. We quickly realized that the 8 square meters require a lot of organization and adjustment from both of us to arrive safely (the New Zealand roads don't make it easier 😅) but the places and animals we see are simply amazing! Although we still haven't seen an Orca and froze for hours in the sandstorm of Sandfly Bay (to see penguins), we have seen countless sea lions, Keas, and unique nature that changes faster than you can blink on the South Island. The highlight so far was Milford Sound, but that deserves its own blog post because this piece of Earth really deserves it😉. In addition to Dunedin with its beautiful beaches, we also went to Queenstown, the action and hipster hub of the South, and saw the Franz Josef Glacier. Words and pictures can hardly describe what you see there... we're standing in a tropical forest and the temperature is just below 20 degrees, yet there's a huge iceberg just two kilometers away... it makes you forget everything you've ever thought... unbelievable..😮
