Today we didn't drive much but it took a long time anyway. It was clear that we wanted to drive through the Kotyhi National Park today. It is a huge area with sand dunes, marshes, endless pine forests and impressive rock formations. When we stopped, we heard the wonderful singing of the cicadas and the scent of the pines was a delight for our noses. Actually, we could have gone for a walk here. But honestly, it was just too hot at this time. The wetlands are migration sites for birds, which can be observed well here in spring and autumn. And then? Burki doesn't feel like driving on asphalt today. So we stay on gravel roads almost the whole time, cross a small bridge where I held my breath to see if it could carry our weight. Eventually, we arrived in Killini and treat ourselves to the first Greek meal at the adjacent beach bar of our pitch. And? Absolutely delicious!! After that, we spent the day swimming, reading and chatting.
