Another sunny day - but only in the morning. From Marburg, we followed the Lahn river for a while, then the Lahn-Eder cycle path branches off, which then intersects with the Eder cycle path in Frankenberg and follows along a railway line. But eventually, we had to pedal up some hills.
In Frankenberg (Eder), we had the rest of the "Hessendipp" (spundekäs, green sauce, sauerkraut) for lunch. Then we continued under slightly cloudy skies. In Herzhausen, where the Edersee begins, there were only to-go drinks, and we realized that there are not many hotels at the Edersee, especially on the less steep side with the Eder cycle path.
As we continued, it started raining, but after three and a half days of sunshine, who can complain? So we asked for accommodation at the next opportunity - a simple campsite and the fear of having to set up the tent in the rain. But he had one simple hut left ("You have sleeping bags, right?") that we are now occupying and suddenly in camping mode. We bought pasta at the kiosk, added Bolognese sauce and beef jerky strips, and it tasted delicious 😋
