This morning at 7:45 we took the ferry to Solvorn on the other side of the fjord. By the way, you pay for the vehicle based on length including driver plus all other adult passengers. When we were asked about the length (7 meters), the ferryman said to us, 'It's definitely 6.99 meters!' - so that we didn't have to pay the price for 8-meter vehicles.
We stopped briefly in the mountains at Gaularfjellet, overlooking the valley.
Then we continued along the Sognefjord, truly the most beautiful scenery we have seen so far. Even Steffen, who has seen some natural beauties in his life, is speechless here in Norway.
Unfortunately, it was still raining, so we only made short stops for photos or game breaks for Bruno. In Skei, we changed our water and emptied the toilet. Steffen was soaking wet afterwards, so he deserved an ice cream. At Rema 1000, we bought fresh bread and potatoes, which are not allowed to be brought into Norway.
We reached our destination, Balestrand, around 5:00 pm. Bruno happily played in a puddle and knocked over our stone towers, and we enjoyed the wonderful view over the water. For dinner, we had the remaining pasta from yesterday, we're slowly getting tired of it!
